The goal for this custom Impala was to create an ultimate pro tourer by keeping as much original character as possible. The stunning transformation includes quite unique custom Torque 3G chassis that incorporates the entire drivetrain and suspension from C6 Corvette.
The chassis is not a tubular, but unobtrusive in order to keep the C6 mechanics in the same layout as in Corvette itself. Due to this Corpala got a very close or even the same performance as C6 Vette and kept the most of its original Impala design.
The engine in this 1963 Impala is Chevy’s LS7 that develops 550 horses, transmission – 6 speed Transaxle, PFADT Overweight Monoleaf suspension and Baer brakes. 1963 Impala‘s transformation to Corpala was done by the same Eckert’s Rod and Custom Shop, that did the amazing Mach 40 Mustang project.
