This custom Mercury is called “Reprise” and it belongs to Jerry Horton – guitar man from very well known rock band Papa Roach.
When it was brought to Bio Kustumz shop it did not look bad at all, but after getting deeper and deeper problems showed up. Merc went under serious cuts and welds before it got its present striking look. Since Jerry knew exactly how he wated his car to look like, Bio Kustomz had to hand form each body panel, ’cause many of the old ones seemed to be fiber glass. They even had to rechop the roof to meet clients expectations.
After all that body work done they painted Merc in custom-mix of House of Kolor paint and it turned out great – chameleon green with some orange tone. The wheels set is one-off and is extremely nice and completes this 1951 Mercury perfectly.
