This 1968 pro touring Charger got some radical and serious treatment, folks. It was shortened by 10.5 inches in front and 10 inches in the rear end. The roof also got chopped by 2 inches and even moved ahead by whole 4 inches.
So many “inch” numbers indicates that the car got much of hand made work including custom panels, restyled doors, cutoff hood and many other custom features that give this pro tourer one-of-a-kind look. The builder, which probably happened to be RK Motors Charlotte themselves, tried to fit Charger into a Challenger’s package here.
However, this built retained original parts from the front grille to the chrome rear bumper. Original grille and hidden headlamps have been fitted to a custom fenders and hood in the factory way.
The hood hides Mopar Performance 472 HEMI [650 horses] which is mated to a Tremec TKO500 5 speed manual transmission. 20-inch Lexani wheels finish this bad ass custom 68 Charger perfectly. Great ride, real head turner.
